The Yale University-Griffin Hospital Graduate Medical Education Program in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine combines unique academic advantages with community medicine and public health experience. Griffin Hospital is the home of the Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center. The center, founded in 1998, is one of thirty three (33) funded by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Its mission is to develop innovative approaches to health promotion and disease prevention that will directly benefit the public’s health, first locally, and then nationally.
